    Hi! My hubby & I are taking our daughters to WDW for the first time in Jan 2019, & our extended fam will also be joining. My dad loves the Yachtsman Steakhouse, so I want to give him a Disney gift card for his bday to use there? Do they accept GCs?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  It sounds like you and your family are going to create memories that will last a lifetime when you visit Walt Disney World Resort this January. Celebrating a first visit with extended family is truly magical!

    My absolute favourite Dining Location at Walt Disney World Resort is Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, in fact we celebrated my birthday there last March.  A Disney Gift Card to use for his dining experience is a great idea, I am positive he will love it.  Disney Gift Cards are accepted at most Disney Dining Locations, including Yachtsman Steakhouse, so no need to worry, the Disney Gift Card will be put to good use.  If there is anything left over on the Disney Gift Card, he will be able to use it almost everywhere on property.  

    Since Yachtsman Steakhouse is a popular Signature Dining Location, I would recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservation as soon as possible.  Advanced Dining Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) 939-1947 up to 180 days in advance.  Also, don't forget to tell the Cast Member that you will be celebrating a birthday, there may be a magical surprise in store for the birthday boy!
