Hi, Kathrine!  It can sure seem like a lot when you begin to plan your first trip to Disney!   I am glad you found the Moms Panel so we can make your planning a little easier!

Start HERE for planning.  This is the Vacation Booking Guide on www.disneyworld.com.  It walks you through step by step with all the details you will need to book your magical vacation.  It will even help you with choosing your dates, let you select your resort, dining options and more.   This Booking Guide really makes it fun!

Based on your kids ages, you might like the moderate resort Caribbean Beach.   Here, they have really cute pirate-themed rooms, a nice food court, and a wonderful swimming area that is nice for the little ones.  All 4 theme parks will be enjoyable, but many of their favorite rides and characters will probably be found in Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

Try the link from above, and start your planning.  If you need more detailed advice, feel free to drop us a note.   Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
