My hubby & I are staying at a WDW resort in Sept with 5 days of park tickets. We plan to do 2 days at MK & 1 day each at EPCOT/HS. For the 5th day, we want to spend 5-6h at AK, then go back to EPCOT/HS for 2-3h apiece. Is that 5th day doable?

Hi Stephen, and welcome to planDisney! What a great trip you are planning, and what a great question as well! I've always been the planner of my family (and all my friends as well), so I'm super excited to get into this. No matter what your plans are, I'm positive you will have an amazing time and enjoy every second of it with your husband.

Hey there! It looks like we don't have a calendar for September just yet, and I'm not quite sure which Disney Resort Collection hotel you'll be staying at. No worries, though; I'm here to help, and I'll do my absolute best to get you all the information you need.

As a guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you can enjoy a 30-minute head start to your day at all four Walt Disney World theme parks with Early Theme Park Entry. This perk will be available through 2024 and 2025. In addition, if you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel or Disney Deluxe Villa, you can also take advantage of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights. I highly recommend choosing your last Theme Park based on this, as you can usually enjoy an extra two hours at the end of the night.

Now, Disney's Animal Kingdom typically opens at 9:00 AM and closes at approximately 6:00 PM. On the other hand, Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT close around 9:00 PM. If you want to move between the parks, Disney offers a bus service that starts from Animal Kingdom to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios at around 1:30 PM every afternoon. This is the most direct route, and buses arrive every 20 minutes. You should reserve around 1 hour to travel from one gate to the other.

This means you should aim to arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom at 9:00 AM and stay until 4:00 PM. After that, you can head to the next Theme Park around 5:00 PM and still have four hours to enjoy all the exciting rides and attractions. Not bad, eh? Just a quick reminder, though: transportation schedules can change without notice, so it's a good idea to check Disney's website before your visit for the most up-to-date information.

Stephen, I'm so glad I could help you with your planning. I can't wait to hear all about the magical memories you'll create with your family. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to come back and ask. We're always here to help you out!

    Cheers
    Nilson
