I can't imagine anything more amazing and magical than celebrating your 25th wedding anniversary at The Most Magical Place on Earth! And at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House for two glorious weeks?! That sounds like a
wild adventure and an absolute dream come true. I LOVE Jambo House, and it is one of my very favorite Resorts. From the moment you arrive, you are transported to a beautiful African village on the savanna, and with some of the best
dining in all of Walt Disney World Resort, an endless list of Resort activities, and all the comforts of home, this Resort is the perfect home away from home for an extended romantic and magical adventure.
With a two-week stay at Jambo House, you might want to do some laundry to lighten your packing load, and I think you will be happy to hear that there are
self-service laundry facilities available to you right at your Resort. If you are staying in a One, Two, or Three-Bedroom Villa, there will be a washer and dryer right in your room! However, if you are staying in a standard Resort hotel room, you will have access to Simba's Cubhouse Laundry Room near the pool or the Kudu Trail 2nd Floor Laundry Room on the opposite side of the Resort. Credit and debit cards can be used to run the machines and, in most locations, purchase laundry detergent from the soap vending machine. If you are staying in a Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Studio, you will have access to complimentary self-service laundry facilities at the Zebra Trail 5th Floor DVC Laundry Room. Just bring your MagicBand or whichever method of room entry you use and a credit card or cash to purchase laundry detergent ... Now, you got no troubles; life is the bubbles!
Jeanie, have you heard of LaundryView?! This is such a cool website that has partnered with Disney Resorts and is linked to their washing machines and dryers to let you know (in real-time!) how many machines are in use, how many are available and when your clothes are done. Just go to the website, enter your Resort, choose your laundry room, and see which machines are in use and even how much time is left! You can even get a text notification when your wash is done! How cool is that?! Now, you can start your laundry and go kick your feet up with a cocktail, grab a snack or take a dip in the pool, and you'll know when it's time to head back to grab your clothes. Even chores are magical at Walt Disney World Resort!
