Me, hubby, 2 sons 9&6 going to WDW 08/22-08/29. Will visit all 4 parks. Kids are a little afraid of roller coasts, what other kind of attractions would you suggest to them?

    Hi there, Renate!

Unlike amusement parks that rely on thrill rides to entertain their guests, Walt Disney World offers a host of rides and entertainment guaranteed to please every member of your family. In fact, the number of thrill rides is reasonably low; while rides like Test Track in Epcot or Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom have some truly thrilling elements, the goal of these rides is not to elicit screams from the riders - but smiles!

Your sons will have no trouble finding so many other experiences to have at Walt Disney World. In Magic Kingdom, visit Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and the Jungle Cruise.

At Epcot, try Mission: Space (Green Team queue, please! It's milder!), Test Track, Journey into Imagination, and one of my favorites, Soarin'.

Disney's Hollywood Studios boasts Toy Story Midway Mania, a do-not-miss attraction. And they'll love Lights Motors Action! Extreme Stunt Show, and the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, too.

And Animal Kingdom has Dinoland, USA just for kids.

That doesn't even scratch the surface of parades, shows, fireworks spectaculars ... you're sure to find more to do than you could have expected! If I can be of any further help, please feel free to drop me a line with your planning questions.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
