My hubby is 100% service connected disabled . Does this count for the discount? What resort offer the servicemens discount? We are looking at going next December. there we'll be 5 of us .

    Hi Dona,

First off, I'd like to thank your husband, and you, for your service. We military families definitely deserve magical vacations, and Walt Disney World is the best place to experience one!

As long as your husband has a DD214 to show his veteran status, he is eligible for the Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets, and the special offer for discounted Disney Resort Hotel accommodations. To find out what resorts will be eligible, please visit this webpage: Great Rates at Select Resorts for Military. Just a note: the special offer for military is valid until October 3rd, 2015, so Cast Members may not be able to give you a complete list of the accommodations that will be available for your December vacation. They will, however, be able to tell you when to call again to find out if the discount will be offered again next fall.

I hope this helps you with your planning, Dona. If you have any other questions about the Disney Armed Forces Salute military discount, or any other part of your vacation, please feel free to ask me at any time. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
