Hubby & I are returning to Disney for our Anniversary in Feb. Debating between Saratoga, WL, & Boardwalk. We stayed at POFQ last Feb and LOVED it but would like to try a Deluxe Resort. We plan on visiting 1 park, golfing, and relaxing! Any recommen

    Hi Charlene!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

My favorite Disney Deluxe Resort is the Wilderness Lodge.  I love everything about the resort.  After it, my second favorite is the Beach Club or the Polynesian; I kind of flip between the two so I guess they are both in "second place".

The Wilderness Lodge is typically less expensive than Saratoga Springs and the Boardwalk so it is a good first step.  If you will be spending a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom, then I definitely suggest staying there.  If you think you will be spending more time in Epcot, then I suggest staying at the Boardwalk or my favorite Epcot area resort, the Beach Club.  I think the Beach Club has a slightly better location and from there you have access to the Boardwalk area and the restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin hotels.  Staying at the Boardwalk obviously means you are close to the restaurants and clubs in the Boardwalk area, but it also means you are closer to the noise.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
