    Hubby and I love to experience the dining options that WDW has to offer! Which is the better value? The DDP or the Deluxe DDP? The Deluxe Plan will offer more opportunities for sampling signature restaurants. Wondering if you've ever tried the Deluxe DDP?

    Hello again Melissa!  I'm excited you've come back to ask me another question about your upcoming vacation.  I love chatting about Disney dining. 

    My family and I have our must dine at locations that we just can't go without.  Because most of these places are 1 table service credit meals, we always purchase the standard Disney Dining Plan.  It is plenty of food for my family.  Except for a few character breakfast meals, we use our quick service credit for a late breakfast/early lunch, our table service credit for dinner and then our snack credit sometime in between. This works out really well for us and is the plan I recommend to most of my friends because of the places I know they will be dining at.  However, if you are interested in doing more than 1 Signature Dining Experience during your vacation, the Deluxe Dining Plan can be worth it!  Not only are you able to use 3 credits for meals during the day, you also have 2 snack credits to use as well.  In my book, the more snacks - the better!  If you were to use your credits in the same way I do for my vacation with a late breakfast/early lunch, snacks throughout the day and then a Signature Dining meal in the evening, it wouldn't seem like an overwhelming amount of food.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
