Hi Moms! Hubby & I will be at DW from Oct 25/15-Nov 2/15 (3rd Trip). We've never visited during Halloween and I really want to know if YOU feel MNSSHP is worth going to. We do not have kids. Also, would you go during the week or ON Halloween?

Hello Katie!  How fun, you and I will be at Walt Disney World at the exact same time!

I personally love Halloween at Walt Disney World, it's so festive and fun!  I plan on attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Halloween night.  If you have it in the budget, I do feel like the party is worth attending - at least once.  If you like dressing up, this is one of the only times throughout the year adults can do so.  I'm already planning out my family's costume ideas.  There are some really great ones at the party and most people with or without kids dress up.  Mickey's "Boo To You" Parade is just awesome, by far my favorite all year long.  There are also special character meet and greets that you typically can't see throughout the year like all of the Seven Dwarfs, Jack Skellington and Sally, and even some characters dressed up in their Halloween best! In addition to all of the fun, there is also special merchandise and treats you can only buy at the party.  HalloWishes, the fireworks display, is also unique to the party and a great show!  If any of these party features entice you, I'd say go for it.  While I don't go to the party every year, I am very much looking forward to attending this year.  A note I should mention, the closer you get to Halloween, the busier the party will get.  I fully expect for the party on Halloween night to be just as busy as the park during the day - but I am okay with that.  So if you want a less busy party, during the week would be better.

I hope this helps with your decision.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
