My Disney Experience account and the
My Disney Experience mobile app are critical pieces of the Disney vacation planning puzzle; let's chart the smoothest course for using this technology to maximize the magic during your park days.
Take a look at the
Family and Friends list in your My Disney Experience account. You currently have the ability to view and make plans for everyone that appears on this list. It sounds like your sensational six are all present and accounted for, which is excellent!
Disney Genie+ service allows Guests to access the Lightning Lane entrance at over 40 attractions throughout the four theme parks. You can purchase Disney Genie+ service for anyone on your Family and Friends list anytime after midnight. I recommend purchasing by 6:45 a.m. so you can make your first Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation at 7:00 a.m. on the dot. I do not recommend waiting to purchase Genie+ until park opening because arrival times for popular attractions such as Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios may be gone by then.
To purchase Disney Genie+ service in the My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three small lines at the bottom righthand corner of the app's homepage --> Tip Board --> Purchase for Today. The next step of the purchase process is where you will confirm the members of your party. All members of your Family and Friends list with valid admission and a
theme park reservation linked to their My Disney Experience account or account profile will be eligible for selection, including your husband.
To book your first Genie+ Lightning lane attraction, scroll to your desired attraction in the Tip Board of your My Disney Experience mobile app and select the "LL Disney Genie+" box. The next step of the process will similarly ask you to confirm the members of your party booking this attraction.
