the hubby and i are going to Disney 10/23 10/28 to celebrate my 23 b-day. On the 26 my b-day we are planning on going to the AK closing at 5 and then head either to DTD or Dboardwalk. Which one do you prefer to celebrate my b-day?

    Hi Christine,

Happy Birthday! Your vacation is coming up fast! You may not like this answer but I say do both!! Catch the bus to Hollywood Studios (Its closer) and take the ferry over to the Boardwalk. Of course, you can take the bus to the one of the Boardwalk hotels also, but live a little and take the ferry.  Take in some entertainment at the Boardwalk, have a leisurely romantic stroll. On any given night, strolling along the BoardWalk from 6:30-10:30 p.m. you may see a sword swallower, jugglers, a tarot card reader or a New Orleans style jazz trio. If you are up to it put on your dancing shoes and go to Atlantic Dance and cut a rug to the smooth sounds of a live band or a DeeJay. About 9pm head to Downtown Disney for some late night fun. On October 26th DTD shops, restaurants etc. will be open until 11pm. There is also a state of the art movie theater at DTD, why not relax with a movie? Sure, you can do that at home. But why not catch a movie while visiting House of Mouse?  Whether you do Boardwalk or Downtown Disney or both you will have a birthday filled with pixie dusted memories.
