My hubby, daughter, myself and my parents will visit WDW Oct 2017. We booked 2 rooms at POR. So we are getting DDP but parents won't. If we wanted, could we use our meal credits to by them food if we wanted?

    Hi Melinda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear that you are planning on staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. My family stayed there last year for part of our vacation and we had a wonderful trip. I think you are going to love it! One of the things I love most about the Disney Dining Plan is how much flexibility it offers Guests during your vacation. You can use your dining credits however you chose during your trip for your family's meals. At the start of your meal, simply notify your server that your entire party will be on the dining plan and they will explain the options you have to order. Then when you are ready to pay your bill, simply let the server know that the meals will all be from one reservation's dining credits and you or your husband can scan your MagicBands to redeem your credits.

Be sure to take a look at your receipt to see the remaining credits on your reservation. This is a good way to keep track of your remaining credits throughout your vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
