lot of fun coming up in January, and I'm excited to help with your planning.
Unlike our friends visiting Walt Disney World, the
Disneyland Mobile App operates a little differently. There is no Friends and Family list capability in the app, so you and your husband won't be able to link each other to dining reservations or other plans. However, each person can add multiple tickets to their Disneyland app, so you can book Lightning Lane return times together!
The purchaser of the park tickets will likely see them in the Disneyland App when logged into their MyDisney Account. Anyone needing to add tickets to their app will need to log into their own MyDisney Account in the Disneyland App. Then, head to the app home screen, and click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner. Click the "My Tickets & Passes" box in the upper left. On the next screen, click the blue plus sign in the upper right. From here, click "Link Tickets & Passes," and there are several ways to add your theme park tickets. My preferred method is to scan the ticket barcode from one friend's app to add it to mine. Hopefully, this gets you and your husband connected, Lisa!
Since you pre-purchased your
Lightning Lane Multi Passes (LLMP), you will also notice that there is no pre-arrival booking window. Your LLMP activates once you scan into a theme park on your theme park reservation day, and you can select your first return time after you're inside a theme park. As long as each person has both tickets in their Disneyland App, you can add them to your party when selecting LLMP return times.
To maximize your LLMP, arrive as close to park opening as possible! Lighting Lane return times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the most popular rides will book quickly. You can also add a Lighting Lane Single Pass (which is not currently available for pre-purchase) once you scan into a park. You will do all of this through the app. However, if you have any problems or need help, find a Cast Member at a
Guest Relations umbrella throughout the parks.
