Want to take hubby to 'Aloha' show at Polynesian, we have DDP with 1 tableservice/day. Is it more cost effective to pay for breakfast at Tusker House and Chef Mickey and save dining credits for the show? Breakfasts are party of 4; show just party of 2.

    Hi Tricia,

It can be tricky deciding which meals to pay out of pocket for when you have made dining reservations which require more Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements than you will have.

I would recommend that you take a look at the menus for Tusker House, Chef Mickey's and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show on the unofficial website Allears.net to get a rough idea of how much each would cost if you were to pay for it rather than using your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements.

Once you have carried out this exercise, you will be able to see whether it will be more cost effective to pay for your Character breakfasts or Dinner Show.

I should think that paying out of pocket for your Character meals will work out cheaper than doing so for Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
