Hubby & I absolutely, positively do NOT want to eat anywhere, anytime there is formal attire necessary. Are the formal nights mandatory? Can we buffet it those nights? Is it possible to NOT reserve dining times and ONLY buffet/quick service our meals

    Ahoy Barbara!

Thanks for your question about Disney Cruise Line.  Which of Disney's magnificent ships have you selected for your upcoming voyage?  They're all quite amazing.

You are absolutely not required to participate in formal nights on the cruise.  If you are sailing on the Disney Dream, you will find that an extensive and more casual buffet will also be offered at Cabana's.  There are also some tasty quick service windows that offer pizza, sandwiches, and salads.  Check your Daily Navigator each day to determine the hours of these alternate dining establishments.  Keep in mind that room service is an option too.

While Disney Cruise Line will assign you a seating time for your meals in the table service restaurants on their fun rotational schedule, you are not required to eat any of your meals there.  With Disney Cruise Line, you can spend your time as you please.

    Wishing you a magical voyage!
