    we are going to HS on Sept. 13th, how long does it take to get from HS to MK? we are going to the MNSSHP and don't want to miss anything!! also where is the BEST character/sit down dining at HS. we already have the fantasmic pkg for a different night.

    If you'll be relying on Disney transportation, you should allow for at least an hour to get from Hollywood Studios to the Magic Kingdom, but if you're driving or taking a taxi, it will take you less than half that time. 

    The best (and also the only) character dining at Hollywood Studios can be found at Hollywood & Vine during breakfast and lunch.  Both meals are served buffet style.  There are no characters on hand for dinner.

    My family has also enjoyed delicious meals at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant as well as Mama Melrose.  If I had to choose one, I'd pick Mama Melrose for its cozy ambiance and tasty Italian meals!
