Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you brought your question to us!
The narration in the brand-new
nighttime spectacular at
EPCOT,
Luminous The Symphony of Us, starts with the line, "Everyone on this earth is part of the great
symphony of us." It continues by saying that each of us has a unique instrument that plays in harmony with one another. This is
especially true for your high school senior and their classmates who are lucky enough to play and sing together at the Most Magical Place on Earth! What an exciting and memorable experience!
There are a few different places where marching bands may perform at various times at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Sometimes they perform down Main Street, U.S.A. in
Magic Kingdom Park while other times they perform on the
AdventHealth Waterside Stage in
Disney Springs. And there may be other locations too! I would recommend reaching out to the school personnel and/or chorus or band director organizing the trip for performance specifics.
Music is such an integral component of not only the Walt Disney World Resort experience but
Disney experiences in general. From the opening notes of the
Overture in the 1937 classic film
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, to the crescendo of the
soundtrack of
Happily Ever After in
Magi
c Kingdom Park, to the
sweeping score of Soarin' Around the World (currently available as Soarin' Around California for a limited time) in EPCOT, the
music of Disney surrounds you, helps connect you to these experiences, and stays with you long after the experience is over. Each of these marching band and chorus members will contribute to the soundtrack of a practically perfect Walt Disney World Resort day. And each and every Guest passing by (or stopping dead in their tracks to watch in awe of their talent), will smile and remember that time they saw that high school band and chorus beaming as they shared their gifts with the world.

The beating of our hearts becomes a symphony,
