Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Randi!
You are counting down the days until your
holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort – how exciting is that?! I just returned from a magical week at Disney, and I’m happy to report that the halls are decked, the treats are ready, and Mickey and pals are waiting to wish you the happiest holiday!
My family loved the
Disney Skyliner! We actually went out of our way to ride those adorable gondolas through the skies during our week, and I was really impressed with how efficient the whole process is, from loading to flying to disembarking at your destination. It’s a fantastic mode of transportation!
Randi, since its opening, the Disney Skyliner has been operating within the
operating hours of the theme parks, and I haven’t heard of it opening before park opening yet. Your best bet is to check with a Cast Member at Disney’s
Pop Century Resort to get the most up-to-date Skyliner operating schedule.
If the Disney Skyliner isn’t operating in the early morning hours, you have two options. One is to take
Disney Bus Transportation from Disney’s Pop Century Resort to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios (there is usually an early bus for those with dining reservations, so check with a Cast Member), and then walk over to
Disney’s BoardWalk for your breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. That walk is about 10 minutes, depending on your group’s speed, and you can pull up walking directions in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Your other option is to use Uber, Lyft, a taxi, or
Minnie Van Service from your Resort to
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and then walk to the restaurant. A Cast Member at your resort can help you determine the best option based on transportation schedules.
Enjoy the
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno! We loved flipping our fins with Eric and Ariel and talking about our dreams with Rapunzel and Eugene. The menu items at this breakfast are excellent, not only because they’re delicious but because they’re filled with cute Disney details (look for Rapunzel’s frying pan). Have so much fun being part of that world during breakfast, and have the happiest Disney holidays!
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
