Will be at HS one afternoon. Hard to get to Ecpot for dinner or best to stay at HS? Staying at the Contemporary; have 3 kids ages 3-6. Can you provide approx travel times from Contemporary to each park? Don't want to spend all day traveling to and from.Thx

    Hello there, Helen!

There are a couple different options to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios over to Epcot, and it won't take you very long. You can either walk, which will take you approximately 30 minutes, or you can take a Friendship Boat between the two Parks which will take you about 35 minutes. I would allow an hour for either of those options just to be on the safe side because my mom always told me if you're not five minutes early, you're late! You'll also need to allow time to walk to your restaurant from the boat launch.

How exciting that you're staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort! You will be super happy with that location as you'll be able to hop right on the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. I always recommend allowing an hour and a half for transportation anywhere you go within the Walt Disney World Resort. I use the Transportation Wizard on a site called OurLaughingPlace.com where you can select where you are and where you want to go from drop down menus. It will give you several modes of transportation along with approximate time each option will take. I have it book-marked on my cellphone as it's a really useful site!
