We are going to HS for half a day (morning) before our flight that night. I have 2 & 5 y/o boys. Would you recommend character meal at H&V, Disney jr show, or just walking around to meet characters? Thanks!

    Hi Tracy!

I have two youngsters as well, so the character meet-and-greet options at Disney's Hollywood Studios are a must-do for our family.

Since your time will be limited that day, and it sounds like meeting the characters will be a priority, I think your best option will be to get a reservation for breakfast at Hollywood & Vine.  The food is awesome and your sons will have plenty of time to meet and play with some of the characters from Disney Junior shows.

As far as the "Disney Junior - Live on Stage!" show, it's a lot of fun!  Starting next month, some new characters will be introduced to the show.  The only hitch is that this isn't an attraction where your sons will get to interact with the characters on a one-on-one basis.  Instead, it's a stage show where they can sing (and dance!) along with the characters as they tell various stories.

Outside of the theater where the Disney Junior stage show is located, you'll find a character meet-and-greet area where various characters will appear throughout the day.  The schedule varies for their appearances, so you'll have to play those by ear.  When I was there a couple of months ago, there were appearances by Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Handy Manny.

I hope that helps and I hope your sons have fun meeting some of their favorite characters!
