Ahoy Kimberly –
Thanks for stopping by for a visit here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am happy to help you with planning a short trip on the
Disney Dream in February! In fact, this is one of my favorite times to sail so that I can escape the winter weather and enjoy a warm climate. My family sailed on the Dream in February of this year, and right now I am preparing for online-check in for our cruise next February.
The weather in the
Bahamas is mild and warm with temperatures averaging in the 70’s during the day. The ocean water at Castaway Cay was too brisk for me, but my sea pups jumped right in without any concerns. A 3-night cruise on the Dream affords guests the opportunity to enjoy delicious cuisine, amazing entertainment and fabulous beaches.
My tips for maximizing the short adventure would be to try to experience the pool areas and AquaDuck on the first day right after embarkation in case it gets crowded. Do not feel pressured to leave the ship on the Bahamas port day – my family enjoys the relative calm onboard and availability of activities on port days. Do not miss
Castaway Cay because this wonderful jewel is sure to delight every member of your family. Read your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or
Personal Navigator regularly in order to take advantage of all the fun.
Kimberly, we hope you get that trip planned soon. If you need more help, please come and “sea” us again!
