Howdy, We’re in the early stages of planning a trip to Disneyland from Australia later this year. My wife has been collecting the anniversary baseball for the last couple of Anniversaries. Do we happen to know if they are available this year for the 70th?

G'Day, Llewelyn, and welcome to planDisney! It's exciting that you and your wife are planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, especially during the 70th Anniversary Celebration! Mix in the spooky delights of Halloween Time, and you have plenty of delightfully festive adventures waiting for you.

Llewelyn, I love that your wife collects commemorative baseball caps – that is such a fun tradition! I have good news: I've seen a few caps across the Resort with the 70th Anniversary Celebration theme. One was all black with a gold letter "D" on the front. Another was also black, but with a more whimsical and colorful letter "D" and other accents on the front and on the brim. Lastly, I've seen a blue cap with a patch of Mickey Mouse in his anniversary outfit. Just keep in mind that items are subject to availability, and offerings may change between now and October.

Even though it's a little hard to know exactly what merchandise will be available at the Resort during your October visit, you don't need to worry. That's because there are many great places to browse. I would say the best places to look for a hat would be at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District; The Emporium and The Mad Hatter shop in Disneyland; and Elias & Co. in California Adventure.

As for what else you can expect this fall, the Disney Parks Blog recently shared a sneak peek at Halloween Time offerings, and there’s even more magic on the horizon. I'm thrilled that some of the beloved entertainment from the 70th Anniversary Celebration, including Paint the Night and World of Color Happiness!, will continue into the spooky season. Some of the vibrant anniversary decorations will remain, too. That gives me a reason to believe that anniversary merchandise will remain in some capacity, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Have you browsed through the various 70th Anniversary Celebration merchandise collections? Each collection has a distinct theme and style, which is so cool! There's a great blog post that highlights some of the merchandise. I wonder what else will catch your eye. If you're interested, browse the Disney Store website, as some of the celebration merchandise has been added there, too.

Llewelyn, I hope you and your wife have an unforgettable visit this fall. I’ll wish upon a star that the perfect cap finds its way into your collection! If you have any additional questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
