    Howdy! I am a DVC member that is trying to book the Wilderness Lodge for this Oct 5-12, but today (4/17) I noticed that they are booked and I can be placed on a wait list! In your opinion what are the odds that I will get what I am requesting? THX D

    Howdy David!!  This is an excellent question!! 

    There is always a chance that you might be moved from the wait list but...Disney's Wilderness Lodge has the fewest number of villas (181) of all of the Disney Vacation Club resorts on Walt Disney World Property.  (For comparison purposes, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has 1,260 villas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village has 493 villas and Disney's Beach Club Villas has 282 villas.)

    Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a great event and the crowd levels can be higher than one might expect for the October time frame.

    Regardless - I am a big fan of the wait list opportunity because I have been able to modify existing reservations thanks to the automated program. 

    Sorry - I wish I had better news for you.  Where are you currently booked for your October vacation?  I'm wondering if there might be some hidden treasures at your current resort that I might be able to share with you.

    Please keep me updated as I would love to know if you end up at Wilderness Lodge!
