Hi, Lorelei! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Here we go;
off to Never Land!
Think of the happiest things (like tasty ice cream treats); it's the same as having wings! The
Peter Pan Float that could previously be found at
Storybook Treats in
Magic Kingdom Park was quite popular, and with good reason. This Fantasyland treat was as delicious as it was adorably
Instagram-worthy!
Currently, during the
phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, you may notice that
many dining experiences may be modified or unavailable. In order to promote cleanliness and physical distancing among Cast Members working in the kitchens, several
dining locations are presently offering more limited menus than what you might be used to. The Peter Pan Float is not listed on the menu for Storybook Treats at this time. Although I haven't heard whether or not this refreshing treat will be flying back to Magic Kingdom Park, maybe with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust it will return. I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog to hEAR if there are any plans for your favorite snack to make a comeback.
In the meantime, if you're craving some ice cream during your next visit to Magic Kingdom Park, you can still find snack carts throughout the park selling treats such as Mickey Premium Bars. I would also recommend sailing your pirate galleon off to Adventureland where you can grab a Citrus Swirl at
Sunshine Tree Terrace. Just around the corner at
Aloha Isle, you can find my favorite Walt Disney World snack, Dole Whip. Don't forget to take advantage of
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering; it's a great way to save some time!
Wishing you a magical, pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning!
Samantha
