Hi Katy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm so excited for you to experience Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Our family has stayed here a few times and each visit is nothing short of magical. Having traveled with little ones your daughters' ages, I would recommend booking the important character dining meals. While it's not impossible to walk up to these dining locations during quieter times of year, the inability to be seated might be disappointing for your princesses. I would suggest 1900 Park Fare for dinner, located directly at your resort. I would also suggest Cinderella's Royal Table or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located at Magic Kingdom and Epcot in order to meet a multitude of Disney Princesses. Theme Park admission will be required for the latter dining locations as they are located within the Disney Parks.
For other meals throughout the week, you could always check in with your concierge each morning. We've had success in the past with booking last minute meals in this manner. You may not have the widest array of choices, but you won't feel tied to dining reservations well in advance.
Booking the character meals can be arranged
online or by calling Disney Dining at 407-939-3463.
Also keep in mind FastPass+ is now available for
Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom. Although subject to change, selecting this FastPass+ option will allow your girls to meet Anna & Elsa as well as another favorite Disney Princess with a limited wait time. Stand By lines have been reported as quite long, so you may want to utilize the FastPass+ if available.
I'm happy to help you plan, Katy. Thank you for visiting!
