Hello there, Jason!
Welcome to planDisney! You sound like my kind of Disneyland friend...always looking for an adventure!
I've done a little digging for you, I feel our friend Dr. Jones would always approve of a little research! The
Indiana Jones Adventure is currently closed for refurbishment (it's not the years, it's the mileage) until sometime this spring. We don't have a firm reopening date yet (you know how unpredictable Indy is with his office hours) but keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more details in the future. I'm sure we will all be celebrating his arrival when he's back in Adventureland! Until then, I did spy some fun new Indiana Jones souvenirs in Adventureland recently. Perhaps you can find some treasure, too!
As for our friends in Critter Country, we know that
Splash Mountain will be transforming into
Tiana's Bayou Adventure soon. While Tiana plans to open the doors in late 2024, we don't know yet when our last chance to sing along to "Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah" at Disneyland Park will be. The version of the ride at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World was announced to close about a few weeks before the final day of operations. Hopefully, when they do announce a closing date, we will have a few weeks to squeeze in our last visits!
I'm afraid that "X" doesn't mark the spot and I can't give you much help with this particular search. But I'd love to share about some new adventures that have just landed at Disneyland Park!
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is the newest attraction that just debuted this weekend, and it is completely charming. The queue at the El CapiTOON Theater is phenomenal, and bursting with clever jokes, hands-on interactions, and magical surprises! Plus you'll be able to experience an amazingly re-imagined
Mickey's Toontown reopening on March 8, 2023! Even if you're not visiting with kids, do not pass up a stroll through this area!
Jason, I'm crossing my fingers that you find some incredible adventures on your trip.
Please swing by again if you have more questions for me! Keep moving forward!
Amanda
