Ahoy Tatiana!
Thanks to the enthusiastic Cast Members and excited Guests, the atmosphere on a Disney cruise is pure ELECTRIC. I really get a CHARGE from
all that’s included in a Disney sailing: from onboard activities, Broadway-caliber shows, character interactions, fabulous food, and exceptional service.
Disney Cruise Line does a great job of letting guests know what items are OK to bring onboard. If you ever have questions about what is and isn’t allowed on a Disney cruise, there is a handy dandy
list of what is not allowed.
Let me assure you that your phone chargers and the plug associated with that are totally acceptable...and in fact a necessity! I have an iPhone too, and I’ve always been able to bring my phone charger. As the mom of two teenagers, we often have multiple phones needing to be charged at the same time. A standard USB charger that charges phones and readers is also perfectly acceptable. If you do bring a USB port from home, make sure it does not exceed 110V which is the maximum capability of the outlets. As the ships are evolving, they are adding built-in USB ports to the stateroom outlets, so perhaps all you will need for charging is simply the phone cable.
It’s so important that your phone stays charged because it houses the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It provides up-to-date listings of activities and entertainment onboard right at your fingertips. You can search for activities and mark them as a “favorite” and then you will receive reminders as the activity time approaches. I recommend downloading this app before you set sail so you can start using it once you embark.
If this SPARKS other questions, then feel free to send them to us at planDisney!
Happy Sailing!
