Howdy Savannah! Welcome back to
planDisney, and I'm so glad that you'll soon be our guest at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
It sounds like you have some fun times ahead! I love sharing the magic of Disney with my best pals. Your local friends can certainly visit you at your resort hotel, but it's best to plan ahead to ensure a smooth arrival process. Recently, I stopped by to join friends for a meal in their
Disney Vacation Club villa when I was staying with family members who reside near Mickey Mouse, and it wasn't a problem at all.
On the day of their visit, I recommend letting the front desk of your resort know you are expecting company, and provide their names and approximate arrival time. That way, when your guests pull up to the parking gate, the attendant will be prepared. They will need to give the name of the lead Guest on your resort reservation, or if you have an
Advanced Dining Reservation at a table-service restaurant, that will also work to give them access.
I hope you have a wonderful visit with your friends! There are so many
fantastic places to share a meal in the
Disney Resorts Collection; I love that there is such a great variety to choose from. Whether you want a fancy night out at the
California Grill or a more casual, yet also delicious experience at
Kona Café, there's something for everyone. Be sure to
check out some great ideas from some of my fellow panelists for what to order at a few of our favorite places. Thanks again for stopping by, Savannah, and we'll see ya real soon!
