Howdy folks, We might need to rent wheel chair on up coming trip. I noticed the length of stay rate and wondering, if I pay that way is it reasonable to assume a wheel chair will be available each day or do we need to be at the parks early every day?

    Howdy Julie,

A Length of Stay rental will save you a little money but it does not guarantee that a wheelchair will be available each day. Wheelchairs are available for rent in the parks on a first come first serve basis. In addition, wheelchairs rented in one park can not be taken to another park if you park hop during the day. You can present your Length of Stay ticket at the next park but you are not guaranteed that a wheelchair will be available.

There are some courtesy wheelchairs available in the handicapped sections of the parking lots to assist guests to the entrance of the park. They are usually blue in color and have a flag on them. These wheelchairs can not be taken inside the parks.

If you think that you will need the wheelchair at your resort or want to be guaranteed that you will have a wheelchair available, you may want to consider renting from an outside source. Check out www.buenavistascooters. They offer wheelchairs in addition to scooters and other mobility products.

Wishing you many magical moments :-)
