Did House of Magic re-open on Main Street of Magic Kingdom? I went when I was little and I k ow it was recently redone but wasn’t sure if it was just the facade of a store

    Abracadabra Jonathan!

I think it’s fantastic that you are searching for Magic in the most Magical Place on Earth! The evening fireworks are still my favorite attraction in all of the Parks because they remind me of my first Disneyland trip with my mom as a kid.

Speaking of Disneyland, did you know that actor Steve Martin worked in the Main Street Magic Shop there before his career skyrocketed? (I bet he credits The Mouse!). The shop has magic tricks, demonstrations, and props that are sure to delight magicians young and old! There’s even a set of magical handcuffs that Houdini used! Unfortunately, it’s sister shop in Walt Disney World, the House of Magic (from your childhood) closed in 1995.

But, never fear! You still can cast a spell at Magic Kingdom Park with Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom! The complimentary interactive scavenger hunt has you protecting Magic Kingdom Park from Hades and his band of Disney baddies, including Cruella, Scar, Maleficent, and Dr. Facilier. To foil their evil plans, you have to find four enchanted crystals that will help you battle Hades' henchmen. Word on the street is that Merlin’s map is magical!

For more criminal interactions, consider hitting Magic Kingdom Park after dark for wicked encounters at Disney Villains After Hours. You can watch the brand new “Villains Unite the Night” stage show, dance the night away at a killer outdoor club with some sick beats, and enjoy low wait times at over 20 attractions throughout the Park! This evil event is time sensitive, so get your evil on over the summer!

Jonathan, I hope all of your magical wishes come true!
