Hey, howdy, hey, Casey! Late nights at the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks are my favorite - I love the ambiance of being in the parks late at night, the lower crowds (and wait times!) and the more relaxed pace at the end of a busy day!
Disney After Hours events are a great way to take advantage of lighter crowds and some extra time in the parks, so let's talk all about their availability!
Currently, After Hours events are being offered to Guests on select nights at
EPCOT through July 18,
Disney's Hollywood Studios through August 29, and
Magic Kingdom Park through June 27. While dates and availability for this event are always subject to change, there has not been an announcement about extending these events past the summer season. With
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates kicking off on August 9 at Magic Kingdom, and looking at last year's dates, it's not likely Disney After Hours will be extended, but I do have a few suggestions to help you snag some after-hours fun in other ways during your November visit!
First, keep a watchful eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the release of dates, ticket sales, and other information about
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which will likely turn Magic Kingdom into a winter wonderland in early November. Last year, ticket sales started for this special event at the end of June, so we should be getting some information soon! This event is an after-hours event that makes Disney magic even more joyful with its holiday touches!
Another after-hours event,
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, is available to Guests who stay at a
Disney Deluxe Resort hotel or
Disney Deluxe Villa Resort. With this event, typically held on Monday nights at EPCOT and Wednesday nights at Magic Kingdom Park, Guests staying at eligible resorts can enjoy two extra evening hours in the parks after closing. Be sure to check the
Park Hours and Events Calendar as your trip gets closer to confirm dates and availability of this event.
Casey, I hope this helps you to find some extra time in the parks after hours! I'm wishing you a magical Disney vacation and invite you to come back and
let me know if you have any other planning questions!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
