I have an after hours ticket to MK in February but am thinking of also using a regular day ticket to arrive earlier like 1-2 pm. Would I have to leave the park and re-enter, or can I just stay in for the after hours event?

Hey Howdy Hey Jana and welcome to planDisney!

Dinsey After Hours events in the parks are amazing. Navigating the parks with reduced crowd levels is such a unique experience for so many reasons. Not only will you have the park virtually to yourself, but included food and drink offerings and unique picture experiences make you feel as though the park is open just for you! While there is a lot to get carried away about, let's talk about getting into the event.

Typically with After Hours events in the parks, Disney will issue bracelets to the attendees. These events will start to let Guests with tickets in at 7:00 PM which is also the time Cast Members will be stationed towards the front of the park to verify attendance and issue the bracelets. If you do plan to get to the parks earlier than 7, I would just try to get to the front of the park around 7 to get your bracelet for the event. After that, you should be all set for the evening!

I hope enjoy the full evening of attractions and snacks during your extra time in the parks. Make sure you take advantage of rare photo opportunities of things like Cinderella Castle with no one around. These make for great pictures with very few people in them!
