Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jusitn!
My husband and I treated ourselves to a date night at
Disney’s BoardWalk last fall, and we had such a great time! I just love the ambience on Crescent Lake with those twinkling lights and lake breezes, and there are so many great bars, lounges, and restaurants in the area.
Spending an evening enjoying Disney’s BoardWalk just got even easier thanks to the addition of the
Disney Skyliner gondola system. I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that the Disney Skyliner’s hours line up with the hours for
Disney Bus Transportation – so, Skyliner gondolas will begin operating approximately 45 minutes before theme park opening, and stop two hours after the theme park closes for the night. This would mean that the Epcot Skyliner station closes 2 hours after Epcot’s closing time, including when the park has evening
Extra Magic Hours. Also, it’s important to note that the Disney Skyliner’s hours vary based on weather conditions. I recommend checking in with a Cast Member at your resort hotel to confirm current operating status and hours.
If you’re looking for later night transportation from Disney’s BoardWalk back to
Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you have a couple of options. You could take a bus headed for
Disney Springs from one of the BoardWalk area resorts, and then transfer at Disney Springs to a bus headed for Disney’s Pop Century Resort. A faster – but not free – option is to take Uber, Lyft, or a taxi. For a really fun option, you could also use
Disney Minnie Van Service, where you travel in polka-dotted style.
Have so much fun at Disney’s BoardWalk! If you’re looking for a cocktail, don’t miss
AbracadaBar, which has fantastic drinks and a wonderful theme. For a late night treat,
Ample Hills Creamery serves up some dreamy ice cream, or the
BoardWalk Bakery has epic baked goods. Enjoy!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
