    What are the hours for the parks during December? Are the water rides open?

    Hi Tawn! The Parks at Walt Disney World Resort in December typically open at 9am and closings vary upon the Parks and whether or not Evening Extra Magic Hours are offered. For example, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park closes at either 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm most evenings except for Evening Extra Magic Hours when it closes 3 hours later. The December 2011 Calendar will be available on www.disneyworld.com by June 2011, but keep in mind that schedules are subject to change.

    The water rides at Disney Parks are open as weather permits during the month of December. It is not unusual for one of the Water Parks to undergo Seasonal Refurbishment during the Winter Months, however, one Water Park will remain open as weather permits.
