Jeffrey, at the moment, the hours for December haven’t been released just yet, so this is definitely one you’ll want to check back on as your trip gets closer. Disney typically begins posting official park hours a few months in advance, and they can still be adjusted as the date approaches.
That being said, historically speaking, late December hours at Magic Kingdom Park can vary depending on whether a special ticketed holiday event like
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled that night. For example, in recent years, some dates around that timeframe have had earlier closing times for regular guests when a party is happening, while nights without events often stay open later, sometimes until 10 PM or beyond.
My best tip is to keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience app as your trip gets closer. Once those hours are posted, you will be able to plan your park day, dining, and nighttime plans with confidence. And in the meantime, using past years' schedules as a flexible guide, continue dreaming up and planning your visit.
