Hello, Deana!
Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you want to learn more about
Disney's Oceaneer Club, the fantastic activity center for kids ages 3 to 10 aboard the Disney Cruise Line. My kids love spending time in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab! Sometimes I have to make them take a break to eat lunch or come hang out at the pool because they could spend all day there.
Although Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab hours of operation vary each day depending on Ports of Calls or Open House schedules, it is generally open from 9:00 a.m. to midnight on most days. Since meals are not currently served in these kid areas, I usually drop off my kids in the morning when we are at sea and pick them up later for lunch and pool time. They often ask to go back to Disney's Oceaneer Club before or after dinner for a couple of hours. We usually look at the schedule together in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app each morning to decide which activities my kids want to participate in during the day, and that helps us figure out how much time they want to spend in Disney's Oceaneer Club.
There are also other youth clubs on the ship.
“it’s a small world” nursery! is a sweet place for little ones ages 6 months to 3 years old (or from 1 to 3 years old on Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries). There is a fee associated with using the nursery, and reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, tweens can enjoy
Edge, a youth club for kids 11-14 years old, and teenagers will love hanging out in
Vibe!
Deana, I hope your family can sail aboard a Disney Cruise soon! Please contact planDisney again if you have other questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
