Hello there, Gene! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled you've stopped by to ask us a transportation question!
Oh, how I love Disneyland modes of transportation. While they are great options to get you from point A to point B, I actually love treating them as an attraction themselves on some of my trips. It's a great way to take a mid-day break but still get the sights and sounds of the parks. The
Disneyland Monorail hours run the same time as Disneyland Park hours. So for example, if the park hours for the day are 8:00 a.m. to midnight, the monorail hours will be the same. The Monorail Station at
Downtown Disney District also opens up a half hour early on days Early Entry is at Disneyland Park. Be sure to check the website or
Disneyland app for the most up-to-date information on park hours leading up to your visit.
Did you know that the Disneyland Monorail system uses a 600-volt DC power source, which means no pollutants or direct emissions go into the atmosphere? While this is a new and improved monorail system from the original, it has been an iconic part of Disneyland Resort since 1959.
Gene, thanks so much for stopping by! If you have any other planning questions along the way, be sure to stop by again!
