Is the 4 hours Disney VIP tour worth the money if we are going on Mar. 2nd? It will just be me & my 4 y/o. We are working with a budget, but I want to be as stress free as possible. This is one of the least busy days of the year. $199 for age 4?

    Hi Natalie!

Keeping a Walt Disney World vacation as stress free as possible is the aim for most guests. Planning ahead is the key to that for sure and it is good you are starting now.

I am one who is in love with the Disney VIP Tours. My family takes advantage of booking one for each of our Disney vacations and unfortunately now we are a bit spoiled by them. This year we also booked the Ultimate Classics VIP Tour which is the four hour tour of the Magic Kingdom. This tour is likely the one you are considering and it is an excellent choice for a four year old to experience all the magic of the Magic Kingdom Park.

The tour will allow you to experience so many of the attractions that do not have a height restriction without waiting in the long lines. When you can only choose three FastPasses for the park it becomes a difficult decision since so many of the attractions use Fastpasses. By booking this tour you will have the opportunity to experience things like Dumbo, Peter Pan, and more with little or no wait. My own family booked this because we have a little one who is two and the other grandchildren are old enough for the thrill rides. When we booked it we were delighted and surprised how excited the older ones were to be able to ride these often over looked attractions because they always chose the roller coasters for their fastpasses.

As far as the least busy day.......well truly it is impossible to predict that as things change from year to year and it is in the midst of winter and spring break times across the country. If your budget allows you to splurge on this one thing then I strongly recommend you booking the tour. And don't forget to make your three Fastpass selections for the times you are not on tour. I recommend the meet Mickey!
