What are the hours available for the in room childcare and for the Children's activity centers?

    Hi Danielle!

We are huge fans of the Children's Activity Centers at Walt Disney World!  My kids had such a blast at Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, our favorite center, just a couple of weeks ago.  The centers are open from 4:30PM to midnight and include dinner and a snack if they are there at 6:00PM and 10:00PM.  There is a 2 hour minimum and the rate is hourly with the exception of Lilo's Playhouse, which is a flat fee for the entire evening and includes extra hands-on activities and character appearances.  Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to play.

The in-room childcare is through an independent company, Kids Nite Out, and is for children ages 6 months to 12 years.  We have used them a couple of times and they are fantastic!  They are available 24 hours a day and provide a one on one experience with your kids.  They charge by the hour and have a 4 hour minimum.  They are not allowed to take the children in the pools or give baths, but you can give them permission for them to walk around the resort.  Our sitters brought a bag of age appropriate toys and activities for my kids and they loved it!

I highly recommend making advance recommendations for either of these services as they could book up during busier times of the year.

    Have a magical day!
