    What is the hourly rate to park at the Grand California Hotel after 3 hour validation ends from a dining experience?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Melissa. I'm glad you're here!

    It sounds like you already know about the three hours of complimentary parking (choice of valet or self-parking) that you get when you dine at Storytellers Cafe and get your parking ticket validated. After that complimentary time, there are standard hourly parking rates at the Grand Californian Hotel.

    The current parking rates are:

    • Self-parking: $45 per vehicle for the first hour plus $10 for each additional hour, with a maximum rate of $85
    •  Valet parking: $75 per vehicle for the first hour plus $10 for each additional hour, with a maximum rate of $145
    • Oversized vehicle parking: $50 per vehicle for the first hour plus $10 for each additional hour, with a maximum rate of $90

    Melissa, for this reason, if you plan to visit the Downtown Disney District or one of the Disneyland theme parks, I recommend moving your car to one of those parking areas. Please note that parking validation at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and the Downtown Disney District is separate and cannot be used interchangeably. If you park at Downtown Disney, you won't be able to use parking validation from one of the hotel restaurants, like Trader Sam's or Storytellers. Likewise, you won't be able to use parking validation from a Downtown Disney restaurant or store if you've parked at a hotel. I hope this helps!
