Will a 5 to 5.5 hour port adventure scheduled to depart at 10:15 am get you back to the ship for the 4:45 boarding?

    Hello there, Teresa!

The Disney-affiliated Port Adventures are so fabulous. My family recently participated in a Disney-affiliated Port Adventure snorkeling in Grand Cayman, and we loved how the Port Adventure had all of the details planned, from the bus transportation and towels, to complimentary refreshments. This made our experience so relaxing and memorable.

Teresa, I’m happy to share that for Disney-affiliated Port Adventures, Captain Mickey and Minnie will do everything in their power to wait for Port Adventure participants i you run into a delay returning to the ship. Just make sure that you return directly to the ship after your Port Adventure is over.

It sounds like a five to five-and-a-half-hour Disney-affiliated Port Adventure would get you back to the ship just in time. Just keep in mind what your scheduled dinner time is since you may get back too late from your Port Adventure to get cleaned up for your scheduled dinner time. If this is the case, I wouldn’t worry too much since there are lots of dining options aboard any Disney Cruise ship. Even if you don’t get the same dinner menu as Guests dining in assigned Main dining restaurants that evening, you’ll find a delicious selection of options from casual eateries or snack stands.

May the magic be with you!
