Is 1 hour enough time to see all of star wars galaxy edge at rope drop?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Matthew!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon! I'm also going to be visiting around the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so I definitely understand how excited you must be to be in the homestretch of your vacation countdown.

This is a tough question to answer, Matthew, since we don't quite know exactly what to expect when it comes to potential crowds, rope drop, and the "Extra" Extra Magic Hours that will be happening during your vacation. I know that since Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will have just opened a few days before your arrival, it's going to be the most popular place to be, especially for guests who are looking to get an early jump on the crowds by taking advantage of that extra time in the morning. I expect it will probably take 10 to 15 minutes for you to walk back to the land when you first get there and another 10 to 15 minutes to walk back to the front of the theme park when you're finished, so with the 30 to 40 minutes you've got left, you can probably have a quick look around at all the exciting things happening at Black Spire Outpost and maybe even get your picture taken in front of the Millennium Falcon!

When Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened at Disneyland Resort this spring, guests who visited in the first few weeks were able to book themselves a four hour time slot to experience the land, and our friends in California who went said that four hours was the perfect amount of time they needed to ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, grab a drink at Oga's Cantina, and do some shopping in the marketplace. If you've only got that one hour in the morning, I recommend trying to find another time to come back again to check out everything you may have missed!

    Have a magical day, Matthew!
