I did the 24 hour Disney on Disney's 60th Anniversary. I was wondering, if Covid isn't a problem, are there any plans for there to be another 24 hour Disney in the future? Either for the 70th Anniversary or for another reason? Thank you!

    Hiya, Sierra!

The Disneyland Resort 60th Anniversary 24-hour launch event was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! It was wonderful to be among the first to experience the"Paint the Night" Parade and "Disneyland Forever" Nighttime Spectacular. They continue to be among my favorite Disneyland Resort entertainment events. The most amazing part of that special celebration was being there among thousands of other Disney Parks fans who were as excited about being there as I was. Making new friends and new memories was a special way to ring in Disneyland Resort's Diamond Anniversary year.

Attending the Disneyland Resort Diamond Anniversary 24-hour launch event was one of the most sleepless and exhausting experiences of my life. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. If the Disneyland Resort were to do that again for the resort's platinum anniversary, or for any other special occasion, I would definitely be among the first to sign up!

We don't yet have information about how upcoming milestone years will be celebrated at the Disneyland Resort. To be honest, the suspense and mystery surrounding those types of Disney Parks events get my heart pumping, even more, when we finally do hear the details. Perhaps the biggest upcoming celebration for the Disney Parks will be Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary. Officially marked on October 1, 2021, the Walt Disney World Resort Anniversary is sure to be a zip-a-dee-doo-dah time. But even though the celebration is likely only about a year away, details about the planned celebration are still somewhat scant. Disney sure does know how to keep a secret, don't they?

When details about upcoming events are available, you'll be sure to find out about them on the Disney Parks Blog. The Disneyland Resort also has a special page for new and upcoming experiences. I also recommend following the Disneyland Resort, the Disney Parks, and even #planDisney on your favorite social media platforms.

What are you most looking forward to at the Disneyland Resort, Sierra? I think I'm most excited to sling some webs with Spider-Man and explore the mysteries of time and space with Doctor Strange in Avengers Campus. But I'll admit that a relaxing afternoon at Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa would be a special treat too. As the Disneyland Resort proceeds through its phased reopening, it's really going to be great to step back into the magic!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Sierra. See ya real soon!
