Hotel/villa - I am traveling with 2 Adults - 2 adult children (20/22) and a newly adopted 6 8 year old. I need to book either 2 rooms or a small villa. Any ideas?

Congratulations, Kathy, on your recent adoption!  How exciting that your newly enlarged family will get to vacation together at the most magical place on earth!

I'm going to suggest three possible options for you with regard to housing during your vacation:

    1. Hands down, my first choice would be a two-bedroom villa at any of the Disney Vacation Club properties.  The least expensive among these are typically Disney's Old Key West Resort (with its beautiful, recently renovated rooms) and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.  If price is not an issue, consider the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge or Disney's Beach Club Resort.  You can't beat their proximity to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, respectively.  No matter which two-bedroom villa you choose, you will all enjoy the spacious floor plan, private laundry facilities, and full kitchen.  There are three separate sleeping areas in these accommodations so everyone will enjoy a generous helping of privacy.

    2. My second favorite option would be to get a family suite at either Disney's All Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort (available beginning May 2012).  These suites comfortably sleep six, offer a kitchenette, and are big on value.

    3.  The least expensive option would be to book two adjacent rooms at one of Disney's Value Resorts.  My favorite is Disney's Pop Century Resort.  It's a fun atmosphere that all will enjoy.  You'll be able to take advantage of all the perks of being a Disney resort guest while saving considerable money at this category of resort.

Let me know if you'd like more input on any of these options, Kathy.  I'd be happy to elaborate.

Best wishes to you and your family!
