Hi, Kassandra!
My family and I were at
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter for Easter last year. The gift shop was amazing. They had a table set up with empty baskets, Easter grass, and cellophane wrap all available for purchase. You could purchase items throughout the gift shop to fill the basket up. It was perfect because you could personalize it with your kids' favorite things. For example, my daughter loves Chip and Dale pretzels, Disney pins, and then I tossed in a Disney Gift Card. For my son, I got a small Disney basketball, Mickey rice crispy treats, and he also got a Disney Gift Card. It was perfect! It was so nice not having to bring all those items from home.
I cannot be sure of what each resort gift shop will have planned this year, but hopefully you will find something similar. If you did want to bring items from home, I would opt for a gift bag in lieu of a basket (easy packing!) and stick to small items that you can bring easily. Tossing in a
Disney Gift Card is always a hit with kids (or adults!)
Check your resort's Easter schedule, as you may find fun Easter happening such as egg hunts and more. And do not forget to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bunny in the
Magic Kingdom. Happy Easter!
Cathy
