Janean from Western Australia Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Which hotels are the "other select hotels" that will be able to make LL bookings 7 day in advance with the upcoming changes to genie+? (Will they be the same as the current "other Disney hotels"?)

Hey Howdy Hey Janean and welcome back to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about qualifying resorts to purchase and book your Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass for your upcoming vacation. As this process is newly released information, we continue to hear about clarification of the details. I will do my best to share what information I am aware of so you can better plan for your trip. Giddy up!

Janean, it is my understanding based on educational opportunities from Cast Members that at this time, qualifying resorts able to make Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass 7-days before arrival are any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts as well as Shades of Green.

As this process formally rolls out later this month, I would make sure to keep an eye on how things develop. There may be a chance that after the initial rollout, more resorts such as the Good Neighbor Hotels may be added to the list. Just know this is a huge assumption at this time and may or may not happen. It looks like you have a few months before your travel dates so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Parks social media for more information.

One other part of the process to keep an eye on is how this would apply to international Guests such as yourself. The 7-day period for qualifying resorts and the 3-day period for all others applies to Guests who currently are in the country. At this time, Guests who live outside of the States can expect to purchase and plan once they enter the country. Disney does see quite a bit of Guests from outside of the country so there is also a possibility this detail of the plan changes as well. Time will tell!

The best advice I can give you right now is to sit tight and see how the next couple of months develop. There is a lot in place for the current rollout and Disney has been known to change and modify things as they gather more data and hear more input from Guests as they experience the new changes. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
