Christina from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

All hotels seem booked for mid-Feb except the $800+/night rooms. I want to stay in a Disney hotel for early hours. Is there any other option? I'm only going to the parks for 2 days and I'm traveling solo as I have a conference in Orlando.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christina! It is a pleasure to answer your very first question.

February brings exciting events to the Walt Disney World Resort like Epcot International Festival of the Arts and Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. It is also important to note that Presidents’ Day holiday gives U.S. Guests the opportunity to add an extra day of magic to their visit.

I recommend checking availability at one of Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels. They offer Guests great benefits such as shuttle service to the theme parks, and access to Extra Magic Hours and FastPass+ planning up to 60 days prior to check-in. These hotels are also perfect for solo travelers because they are conveniently located near Disney Springs, providing access to amazing shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities.

Moms Panel tip: since you have two days to enjoy the theme parks, I recommend purchasing tickets with Park Hopper Option. You will have access to all four theme parks during your visit, allowing you to experience more magic! Plan one of your days with an early morning visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to experience the excitement of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and end your day traveling around the World Showcase at Epcot. On your second day, spend your morning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and head over to Magic Kingdom Park in the afternoon to enjoy the rest of your day. Do not miss Happily Ever After fireworks, the perfect grand finale to your visit.

I hope this helps you while planning, Christina! Stop by real soon if you have more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
