Alexis from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can hotels be rescheduled, when they are past the cancelation date? This would be the Swan hotel and our trip is in 3 weeks (November 6th). We don't want to cancel the trip but reschedule to a later date because one of us has COVID.

Hello Alexis, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm so sorry to hear about your illness, and I'm wishing a speedy recovery to the member of your party with COVID. Please take good care.

Your best course of action is to review the terms and conditions that you received at the time you booked your reservation at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. It's my understanding that the cancellation policy may vary based on the category or offer you booked, so you should reach out to the hotel directly to ask about your situation. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you're able to modify your reservation to a new date easily.

When you're ready to travel to Walt Disney World Resort and make your new plans, your friends here at planDisney are here to help with any questions you have! If you're able to travel later in November, you'll be arriving in time for the holiday season, which is a fantastic time for a visit. From your "home" at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, you'll be able to walk to the BoardWalk area Disney Resorts Collection hotels to see their festive decorations - some of these resorts feature incredible life-sized gingerbread displays - and sample delicious holiday treats. You'll also be a short walk over to EPCOT for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. I'm wishing you good health and hoping your Disney dreams come true soon!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
