Are there any hotels recommended for off site to save money ?

Hi Kelly, and welcome to PlanDisney!

I love that whether you stay on or off property at Disney World, there is an abundance of hotel options to choose from to fit any budget or style. My family and I have enjoyed stays at some local hotels throughout our Walt Disney World Resort visits and have yet to be disappointed.

Have you checked out the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels? You will find great amenities, convenient locations, and a price that you can not beat. We are fans of the Buena Vista Suites. These suites are beautifully decorated and offer plenty of space for our family of four, and of course, the included breakfast options made it a winning choice.

In addition, any of the resorts in the Disney Springs Resort area would be a fantastic option! Not only are the locations of these resorts second to none and within walking distance to Disney Springs, but these resorts boast transportation to the theme parks and offer some of the same perks you will find if you were a Disney Resort guest. Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and Wyndham Lake Buena Vista are two of my personal favorites. Though it went by another name at the time, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista holds a special place in my heart because it was the very first stay we enjoyed with my daughter after she was born.

I recommend looking at the hotels associated with the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels and hotels located in the Disney Springs Resort area. I have no doubt you will find something that works for you, your family, and your budget. Please let us know if you need additional assistance, and have a magical time!
