Hey there, Steven!
This is a great question and something that I am sure has been on a lot of people's minds recently.
Walt Disney World Resort is still in its phased reopening stage. This means that although most hotels are open and operating normally, one hotel,
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, has not yet received an opening date.
While theme park capacity has not been publicly announced, I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort is still using the
Disney Park Pass system. This means that in addition to you theme park tickets, you must make a Disney Park Pass system reservation to be admitted into the park. Although these reservations are free of charge they do book-up, so be sure that you grab yours early. This is especially true if you are going to be visiting on a holiday weekend.
Steven, in terms of experiences in the theme parks, the experience looks much like it did before the closure. Characters are everywhere, although they are physically distanced, and you can even enjoy some of your favorite character meals! Two all-new nighttime spectaculars have launched, and you can now take advantage of the Lightning Lane through the all-new
Disney Genie+ Service.
Steven, be sure to check out the "
Experience Updates" section of the Walt Disney World Resort website to get the latest information about things like face covering guidelines.
Wishing you a magical trip!
